The house — how the books are kept

The houseand its ledger

Good things, kept in one ledger.

Nº 01 — The house

Every vintage, one open ledger.

“Every lot, every price,
on one open page.”

Pelloure is a small family estate winery: reds, whites and sparkling wine grown and bottled on our own hillside, plus the glasses and tools to pour them well.

Every entry shows its price, its options and its stock as they stand today — which is why some entries are marked few left and some are marked sold out.

Nº 02 — How we keep it

Three rules, kept plainly.

Pelloure keeps a short list and keeps it well. These are the three rules every entry answers to.

  1. Rule Nº 01

    One at a time

Every wine has its own entry: grape, vintage, site and lot, the sizes it comes in and what it costs, written out in full.

  2. Rule Nº 02

    A short list

A short cellar list on purpose, kept in shelves and collections you can read end to end in one sitting.

  3. Rule Nº 03

    The account, open

Prices, stock and options stand on every entry as they are today. Delivery and taxes are settled at checkout.

Good things keep their own accounts.
